Memorial Day is coming up soon. Check out the web site for some information and history regarding the holiday.

Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day started in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971 to honor those who served and died in wars.

The Wall That Heals will visit Erie, PA over Memorial Day Weekend 2022 at Zem Zem Shrine Club sponsored by Erie News Now. The Wall That Heals is a 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C.

Meeting on April 21st, 2022. Discussed continued revitalization post Covid and developing online presence. Voted on contributing an indoor tower garden for Soldiers and Sailors Home of Erie as a therapeutic tool and memorial for Military Order of the Purple Heart.
