🌳 Join Us for a Community Tree Planting! One week from today! 🌳

Saturday, May 23rd, come help us grow a greener, healthier Erie! Volunteers of all ages are invited to join us for a community tree planting event as we work together to expand neighborhood tree canopy, beautify our city, and support cleaner air and water for future generations. 💚
Gloves, tools, and guidance will be provided, just bring sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and your community spirit!

A few weeks in, and the Ground Corps is already making an impact 💪🌱
Our adult crew kicked things off with OSHA and First Aid training and is building skills to stay safe while doing hands-on, outdoor work across Erie. In their first days at our project sites, they’ve already removed nearly 100 pounds of trash from our city neighborhoods and are planning for a season full of beautification projects across Erie. The crew even found morel mushrooms growing at 5th and Wallace in one of the lots Groundwork will be tending this year alongside Bayfront East Side Taskforce 🍄
Stay tuned for many more Ground Corps adventures and discoveries in the coming months!

We've been hard at work this winter to prepare for spring!
