deliciousness: The Pies turn 8 🎉

Luna & Miss BB (aka Apple & Cherry Pie) are EIGHT, and these sweet sisters never miss their annual birthday bash, TOGETHER! 🎂🍎🍒 Adopted in January 2019, these girls prove that Paws Crossed family stays family ... even 8 years later! 🥹💕

Luna’s wonderful family shares:

“Happy 8th Birthday to these ‘Pie’ pups. One of the best decisions in my life was bringing my Luna home (left). They are 2 of 5 girls and they have met every year on their birthday. Wishing them continued health and happiness. They sure deserve it all! If you one of the “Pie” pups adopted in January 2019? Connect with us—we’d LOVE to have you join the annual reunion!" 💕

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ALL the Pie pups! 🥧

💙🐾 A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to our amazing friends at Tompkins Bank & Trust in Mahopac! 🐾💙

When it comes to Group Volunteer Days, these folks mean BUSINESS! 💪 They showed up with a whole troop of hardworking animal lovers and absolutely CRUSHED every chore we had lined up for them! 🙌 From start to finish, they brought big smiles, willing hands, and even BIGGER hearts. ❤️

We had some newbies join the crew this year, and they got the full Paws Crossed experience, including a tour of our facility and some quality time meeting our furry residents! 🐶🐱 We love welcoming new faces into our PCAR family!

A special THANK YOU to Andrea for all your help making today such a success! And your choices of sweet Baby James and fuzzy-faced Crane as the day's adorable mascots? PERFECTION! 🥹💕 They were ready to supervise the hard work… or at least accept all the compliments! 😂🐾

It takes a village to make a difference, and we are continually reminded just how AMAZING our community is. When local businesses show up, roll up their sleeves, and give their time and hearts to help pets in need, in the biggest way! 🧡

Tompkins Bank and Trust, thank you for being such wonderful partners and for helping us keep our mission moving forward: Rescue One by One Until There Are None. 🐾❤️

Move over, Fats! There’s a new Domino in town, and this four-year-old gentleman is ready to rock your world! 🎸❤️

Please meet Cats Domino ... a hearty boy with a healthy appreciation for the finer things in life, especially when those things come in a food bowl! He may be a foodie, but he’s definitely NOT a food snob. Serve it up, and he’s ready to dig in! 🤣

This dude is one COOL CAT. With his gorgeous black-and-white coat, absolutely EPIC green eyes, and that adorable little soul patch, he gives off serious jazz-musician vibes. 🎷 Just picture him in a tiny beret, lounging in a smoky jazz club, contemplating life between dinner reservations. 🖤🤍

He may share a name with a rock ’n’ roll legend, but Cats Domino is more smooth jazz than wild piano boogie. Cool, confident, and effortlessly handsome, he’s got the looks, the rhythm, and the poet-personality!

Cats Domino is ready to find his forever home, where the food is plentiful, the vibes are mellow, and there is 🎶 "A whole lotta lovin' for you" 🎶

For more information on this handsome fellow, please visit our website at: www.pawscrossedny.org/adopt. Can't Adopt? SHARE SHARE SHARE! Ready to bring home your very own cool cat? Cats Domino is waiting for his big break (... and great meal)! 💕

: "My daddy got to marry his queen" - so says Luna (FKA Tawny). And doesn't she look beautiful in white? 💕

Do you guys remember Luna and her heartbreaking story from about four years ago? At barely 18 months old and having just given birth, she arrived at Paws Crossed with a gunshot wound to her neck and a long, long road to recovery ahead.

But through it all, Luna’s sweetness never faded. She needed a very special home, and then a young man walked through our doors. The connection was instant. ❤️ Her new dad stood by her through countless vet visits and dietary challenges, helping her heal one day at a time.

Today, we’re revisiting Luna’s story ... not for the cruelty she endured, but for the love that changed everything ... and for this next wonderful chapter!

Won't you please join us tonight in wishing this beautiful family all the very best for years and years to come! Congratulations!!! 🤗

Oh, sweet Buki. Where do we even begin?! This pint-sized, ridiculously handsome little man is just over 9 years old, but don't you dare call him a senior. He’s far too busy being fabulous! 🤗

Buki came to Paws Crossed through no fault of his own, after a change in his family’s circumstances meant they could no longer keep him. 💔 Now he’s ready for a new chapter filled with all the love, happiness, and cozy comforts he so deserves.

He is a tripod (losing his leg at just 6 months old), but don’t think that slows this boy down! Buki has places to go, hearts to steal, and a modeling career to pursue. Those tortilla-chip ears? Those puppy-dog eyes? And that outrageously adorable underbite?! How can one tiny face hold so much personality?! 😍

Handsome, hilarious, and overflowing with grand-sized personality, Buki is ready for his beautiful new beginning. All he needs is a family to love, a soft place to land, and a future filled with health, happiness, and endless affection! 💕🐾

For more information on this little tootsie roll, please visit our website at: www.pawscrossedny.org/adopt. Can't adopt? SHARE SHARE SHARE! And .... Here’s an extra-special little detail: Buki can be associated with the meaning “added blessing.” And we have a feeling this little guy will be exactly that for the lucky person who welcomes him home. 💫
