💙 Forever a Lagond Legend – Miles Applebaum 💙

Eleven years ago today, we lost a beloved alum, devoted musician, and gentle soul at just 21 years old – Miles Applebaum.

Miles was always ready to jam, share a new song, and support others without hesitation. His dedication to music was unmatched – earning him acceptances into all seven schools he applied to, along with $168,000 in merit scholarships.

During his final weeks, Miles worked at the Lagond studio, leaving a lasting mark on our community. He is remembered not only for his musical contributions, but for the kindness, passion, and light he brought to everyone around him.

To honor his legacy, the Applebaum family established The Miles Applebaum Music Scholarship Fund at Lagond Music School. This fund continues to provide opportunities for disadvantaged aspiring musicians to pursue their passion, just as Miles did. His impact lives on through every student whose life has been changed by this scholarship.
