Josh Palmer Fund The Josh Palmer Fund assists local cancer patients and their families with financial needs. Cancer Basketball Tournament.

Since the inception of the Josh Palmer Fund over twelve years ago, the fund has raised over $500,000. Funding remains local in the Elmira, Corning and Finger Lakes area for the benefit of local cancer patients. The Josh Palmer Fund raises money each year through two major events: a golf tournament and the Coaches vs. Two scholarships are also awarded through the fund annually to college bound high school seniors.

Thank you to the Horseheads and Elmira baseball and softball programs for making this year’s 100 Inning Game such a great day. ⚾🥎

From the players and coaches to the families and supporters, you helped make this tradition even more special.

Every dollar raised through this event goes toward supporting local cancer patients and families who need it most, right here in our community — helping with things like utility bills, rent, medications, and other expenses that may not be covered by insurance.

Like Coach Limoncelli said, this is what the event is all about: showing up, giving back, and making a real difference for people who need it most.

We are so grateful for your energy, sportsmanship, and continued support of the Josh Palmer Fund. We’re already looking forward to next year’s 100 Inning Game!

A new chapter of the 100 Inning Game began today. 🥎

For the first time, softball joined this special tradition as the Horseheads and Elmira softball programs came together for 50 innings of their own.

Thank you to Horseheads and Elmira for helping grow the 100 Inning Game and for showing what this event is truly all about. We’re already looking forward to next year! 💙
