Today, Perry Tracy as part of The Ember Collective, held the “Helpers Need Help Too” seminar in our building, and it was truly wonderful.

It was one of those sessions that felt needed from the moment it started. Tracy created a space that was warm, honest, thoughtful, and deeply affirming for people who spend so much of their lives pouring into others. The message was powerful: those who help, lead, support, mentor, care, and show up for the community need support too.

So often, helpers are expected to just keep going. Keep serving. Keep carrying. Keep being strong. Today was a reminder that our well-being matters too — that rest, connection, and healing are not luxuries, they are necessary.

A huge thank you to Tracy and The Ember Collective for bringing such an important and meaningful conversation to our space today. It was encouraging, grounding, and truly appreciated.

And a special thank you to Tossed in Downtown Elmira for the WONDERFUL food for lunch. Everything was fantastic! Please stop down and see them — and support a great local business.

Helpers need help too — and today was a beautiful reminder of that. 💙🧡
