🏀💥 Runway for a Cause presents: RUNWAY REBOUND!
Join us for a 3v3 basketball tournament designed to bring the community together through competition, connection, and giving back!

📍 Location: Empire Sports of the Southern Tier; 300 N Main St, Elmira, NY
👥 Teams: Up to 5 players per team
📝 Registration: Scan the QR code on the flyer or visit the link in our bio to register.

DAY 1: SATURDAY, AUGUST 23rd – ADULT DIVISION (Ages 17+)

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
💵 Cost: $150 per team

🎯 3-Point Shootout to follow the tournament
• $5 entry per shooter

DAY 2: SUNDAY, AUGUST 24th – YOUTH & JUNIOR DIVISIONS

Junior Group (Ages 14–16)
🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
💵 $125 per team

🎯 Free Throw Contest to follow ($3 entry)

Youth Group (Ages 10–13)
🕧 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM
💵 $125 per team

🎯 Free Throw Contest to follow ($3 entry)

✅ What You Need to Know:
• All teams must pre-register
• Max 5 players per team (subs allowed)
• Fun, safe, and competitive environment for all skill levels
• Proceeds support Runway for a Cause’s youth empowerment programming

We’re holding another Model Casting Call for our 6th Annual Runway for a Cause Fashion Show and we’d love to see you there!

Whether you’ve walked runways before or this would be your very first time, we welcome all ages (16+), sizes, styles, and stories. If you’ve ever dreamed of being part of something meaningful and creative, this is your moment.

All models interested in walking in this year’s show must attend a casting call to be considered.

Since 1952, the Waverly Community Chest has been the quiet force behind so much good in the Valley.

They support over 15 local organizations, helping to fund everything from youth programs and family services, to Salvation Army outreach and free community concerts. Every single dollar raised is poured right back into the Waverly area; no outside funding, no corporate overhead. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

Your presence made this community-centered event so special. From the laughter shared over tea to the heartfelt conversations that reminded us why we gather. Whether you came to connect, reflect, or simply enjoy the moment, your energy helped us pour love, intention, and purpose into every cup.

A huge thank-you to our volunteers, culinary team, and all the hands that helped bring this gathering to life. This was more than just a tea event, it was a celebration of togetherness, grace, and resilience. 🫖💐

Thank you to our beautiful guests for attending! Esteemed author Amy Dickinson for being our M.C.! C.J. Stroman for rocking the house! And who could forget our amazing musicians Chris White, Allen Adler, and Wayne Gottlieb for setting the atmosphere! We even had a360moment capturing smiles to share for years to come!

Enough can’t be said about the talent of the individuals and what they bring to not only our organization but to the world. They bring joy and love wherever they go and this could not have been shared more than with The Women’s Opportunity Center in Ithaca!
