Thanks again for Bernard Chow from Phil Wongs office presenting us with this Centennial Certificate for Elmhurst Memorial Hall (1926-Present). The Elmhurst Memorial League, comprised of parents of WW1 Veterans and Community Members, raised funds to build the Hall, several years after the inception of the league. Thanks also to sociologist Rich Cimino, who interviewed myself and a number of community members in Elmhurst, and all of Queens, in order to complete this laborious task. (My name is misspelled on p. 42).
