The Woodhaven Residents' Block Association (WRBA) and the community of Woodhaven are saddened by the news of the passing of Vickie Messina. Vickie was loved by everyone who knew her. In addition to spending nearly fifty years in our community raising a family with her husband John, she was active in the arts and community affairs. She embraced poetry and volunteered at the Woodhaven-Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps. She was a valued and respected member of the Board of the WRBA. Vickie will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be June 4, 2026, at James Romanelli-Stephens Funeral Home, 89-01 Rockaway Boulevard. Ozone Park, New York, 11416 between the hours of 2PM and 7PM.

On Friday, June 5th, we'll be showing Disney and Pixar's WALL-E at the Seuffert Bandshell in Forest Park. It's a great opportunity to spend an evening outdoors with your neighbors.

Please arrive by 7:30 PM. The movie begins at 8:00 PM.
