Christmas Tree and Angel Luminary Pottery Workshop 🎄✨
Make something handmade for your holiday table this year! Join an instructor from the Elkhart Art League for a two-part workshop where you’ll turn slabs of clay into glowing Christmas tree and angel luminaries.
In the first session, you’ll learn slab-building basics as you cut, shape, and join clay to create one large luminary tree (perfect for tea lights) and two smaller trees or angels. You’ll add texture and pierce your tree so the light shines through. In the second session, you’ll glaze your bisque-fired pieces. Go classic with green trees and white angels, or try a speckled or stained finish. Your pieces will be fired one last time and ready for pickup 7-10 days after the final class, just in time for decorating or gift-giving.
No clay experience needed. Your instructor will guide you through every step!
