We invite you to join us for an evening worth dressing up for.

The Inaugural Fall Formal is the grand finale of our 50th anniversary year, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than with the neighbors who have stood beside us for five decades.

Enjoy a delicious charcuterie spread, dance the night away, and raise a glass with friends, all while supporting the rides, Medicare guidance, and everyday help that allow older adults across Elkhart County to live with dignity, independence, and connection.

Reserve your tickets ($50) here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/inaugural-fall-formal

To our local business owners: we would be honored to have you stand with us. Please take a moment to view the unique sponsorship opportunities we have. The Platinum commercial is professionally produced by Spark41, so your sponsorship keeps working long after the last dance. To reserve your level or claim a moment, reach out to Tina Fraley at (574) 295-1820, ext. 220, or [email protected].

We can't wait to celebrate with you.

Council on Aging of Elkhart County Announces New Office Location

The Council on Aging of Elkhart County’s senior center is pleased to announce the relocation of its corporate office to 3145 Benham Avenue, Elkhart, IN 46517 on October 12, 2026.

The move marks an exciting new chapter for the organization and, for the first time, provides the Council on Aging with the space and resources needed to offer all of its program services in its primary location. The Activity Center will continue to offer satellite programs with its partners throughout the county, while hosting regular weekly programs in-house.

“Our new location represents an important step forward for the Council on Aging and the seniors and families we serve throughout Elkhart County,” said CEO Tina Fraley. “By bringing our programs and services together under one roof, we are creating a more convenient and coordinated experience for those seeking support, resources, and healthcare services, while strengthening our capacity to address the evolving needs of aging adults and individuals with disabilities.”

We will continue to offer all of our existing programs and services, including:
• Transportation services
• In-home Care
• Activity Center programs and activities
• Medicare and SHIP counseling
• Resource library and referrals
• Tax preparation services

The new facility will provide a centralized home for these services while creating additional opportunities for connection, collaboration, and community engagement. The Council on Aging encourages seniors, caregivers, families, and community partners to visit the organization at its new location and learn more about the services available to Elkhart County residents.

Our mission is to support older adults in maintaining independence, improving quality of life, removing barriers to healthcare access, and remaining active and connected within the community. Through a wide range of programs and services, we provide services designed to ensure individuals possess the tools required to navigate and manage the changing needs of older adults and their families.
