💜 WE’RE HIRING! JOIN THE K2PB TEAM! 👓

Love working with kids and making a difference in your community? Kindness to Prevent Blindness (K2PB) is looking for a caring, energetic, and organized K2PB Specialist to help children across Michiana see their best so they can be their best!

📅 Monday–Friday | School Year
⏰ Approximately 30 hours per week

✨ What You’ll Do:

* Assist with vision screenings at local schools
* Support our mobile eye care unit and school visits
* Work with students, school staff, and volunteers
* Help with scheduling, communication, and daily operations

💜 Who We’re Looking For: Someone who loves working with elementary-aged children, is dependable and organized, communicates well, has a valid driver’s license, and is comfortable using computers and learning new things.

We were back on the road for our first mobile unit day of the school year! Today we visited Premier Arts Academy and saw 21 students, 17 of them will be receiving free glasses! Just imagine what a positive impact this will have on their education! 😎

We were so happy to be back in the schools doing what we love! Today we screened 360 fifth graders at Concord Intermediate. With the help of six amazing volunteers, including a senior nursing student from Concord High, we were able to identify 110 students who will be referred to our mobile unit for a free eye exam. We can’t wait to put glasses on faces because when students are seeing their BEST they can be their BEST!🤓

🎓👓 AMAZING students. AMAZING futures. AMAZING impact.
We were honored to partner with CARE Elkhart to provide vision screenings and eye exams for students as they prepare for their next chapter. These students are off to great places and destined to do great things, and we are grateful to play a small part in helping them SEE their best so they can BE their best.
A special thank you to CARE University for all you do to support, encourage, and prepare students for success in college and beyond. Your commitment to investing in the next generation is truly inspiring.
We would also like to recognize our incredible volunteers from K2PB and Boling Vision Center, including Dr. Layman, for giving their time, talents, and hearts to serve these students. Together, we are helping remove barriers and creating brighter futures … one student at a time.

We had an incredible K2PB Make-Up Day at Boling Vision Center’s Notre Dame office in South Bend, nearly 60 students served through our Kindness to Prevent Blindness program! 🤩

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers, especially Dr. Lindberg and Dr. Egan, for giving their time and care to help these kids SEE their very BEST! 💙👁️💙

Days like this are a powerful reminder: every child deserves the opportunity to SEE more clearly both in the classroom so they can learn, and outside so they can play, explore, and just be kids!

Helping a child SEE is life-changing. And today, we got to be part of that magic! ✨✨✨
