🌟 YOU DON’T HAVE TO HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER TO COME TO JESUS. 🌟

Sometimes we convince ourselves that we need to clean up our lives before we can approach God.

We need to fix our mistakes.
Get our priorities straight.
Start going to church.
Become a “better person.”

But that isn't the Gospel.

📖 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

Jesus didn't wait for us to become worthy of His love. He loved us right where we were. ❤️

That's one reason we're so excited about Hope After Fear. We want people who may never walk through the doors of a church to know that they are welcome to stop by our Tent of Hope.

No pressure.
No judgment.
No perfect people.

Just ordinary people who have experienced the grace of an extraordinary Savior—and would love to listen, pray with you, and share why Jesus gives us hope beyond our fears.

🕊️ What if the Church went where the people are?

Jesus didn't spend His ministry waiting for hurting, searching, or broken people to walk through the doors of a building. He went to them.

He met people along roads, at wells, around dinner tables, and in unexpected places. He listened. He loved. And He offered something the world couldn't give them—hope.

That is the heart behind Hope After Fear.

This fall, United Servants for Jesus (USFJ) is stepping outside the traditional walls of the church and setting up a bright Tent of Hope near the exit of the Hill of Terror in Bonnieville, Kentucky.

Not to argue.
Not to judge.
Not to condemn.

❤️ Simply to be present. To listen. To pray. To love. And when the opportunity comes, to tell someone about Jesus.

📖 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10

Imagine what could happen if churches and believers from across our community came together—not worried about the name on the church sign, but united around the name of Jesus.

🙏 Please pray that God will use every conversation, every volunteer, every prayer, and every simple act of kindness to reach someone who needs hope.

And here's a question for you:

🌟 HOPE IS GREATER THAN FEAR 🌟

Fear has a way of asking some of life's biggest questions:

What happens after this life?
Is there really hope when everything feels dark?
Does God still care about me?
Could Jesus really change my life?

The good news is that Jesus didn't wait for us to find our way out of the darkness. He came into the darkness to bring us His light.

📖 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

Beginning September 18, United Servants for Jesus (USFJ) will be setting up our bright Tent of Hope outside the Hill of Terror in Bonnieville, KY. We're not there to condemn anyone or tell people where they shouldn't be. We're simply going to be there to love people, listen to people, pray with people, and share the hope we have found in Jesus Christ. ❤️

Maybe that's what being the Church looks like sometimes—going outside the walls and bringing the Light wherever people are.

We plan to support and conduct a community outreach initiative at the exit of Hill of Terror, 3666 Priceville Rd, Bonnieville, KY, from September 18 through October 31, Friday and Saturday evenings from dusk until 12:00 AM (CDT).

The outreach will utilize a welcoming tent to engage attendees in meaningful conversations about fear, the afterlife, hope, and Jesus Christ.

We have already received permission from Hill of Terror owner Jason to conduct the outreach, and he has agreed to have the exit path direct attendees toward our outreach tent.

Beginning Monday, August 17, we’re making a small adjustment to our Day Services and donation drop-off hours.

As the number of neighbors we serve continues to grow, this schedule will give our team dedicated time each week for preparation, cleaning, organization, and the behind-the-scenes work necessary to keep our programs running strong.

What if today we spent as much time reading God's Word as we do scrolling through social media?

The Bible isn't just an old book—it's God's living message to us. It brings wisdom when we're confused, peace when we're stressed, truth when the world is full of opinions and lies, and hope when life feels uncertain.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." – Psalm 119:105

Before this day is over, take just a few minutes to open your Bible and ask God, "What do You want to teach me today?" You may be surprised by how He speaks through His Word directlyto you.

Don't just know about God—know Him through His Word.
