After learning how to put all the pieces together into an effective, fruitful, and fun-filled 5-Day Club on Friday morning at CYIA, the students used their skills in learning a new outreach: soccer party clubs! After study, demonstration, and practicing their individual parts, teams rehearsed an entire soccer party club. The evening ended with testimonies and a consecration challenge. It was an amazing week at CYIA!

Thursday at CYIA: LOTS more learning and practice, along with preschool helps and fun electives on face painting, puppets and ballooning.

Flashback to Wednesday at CYIA: Students strengthened their understanding of teaching Bible lessons and missions, while also learning about guiding a child to the Savior and making clubs fun and interactive for the children.

Our week has been busy at CYIA, so we're behind in posting (sorry, parents), but here's a flashback to Tuesday. Much learning and practice, growth and prayer, coaching and laughter were on the agenda.

The demonstration club was the first 5-Day Club some of our CYIA students have ever attended, while others attended as children, were saved in 5-Day Club, or in the case of our returning students, have taught clubs in previous years. The student leaders and staff did an excellent job, as did all of the CYIA students! Some of them didn't want to take breaks, free time, or even meals so they would have more time to prepare lessons! With some walking, team competitions, and jumping jacks mixed in, they pressed on for the Lord! We are blessed that He gives us the privilege of being ambassadors for Jesus!

Sunday at CYIA began with worship and the Word. By the end of the day, the students had practiced and been coached on presenting the Gospel using the Wordless Book. They have learned much in just a day and a half! Classes on music and missions were also held, with an incredible opportunity to meet and pray with our missionary in India via Zoom before evening prayer and dorm devotions. Praise God for a day full of learning and blessings!

We kicked off CYIA 2026 today with learning to share the Gospel through the Wordless Book! Praise God for 51 students, including five experienced student leaders who are serving as coaches.

We are super excited to partner with Challenge House again this summer for 5-Day Club ministry in Hoptown!

HEY KIDS!!!!! Child Evangelism Fellowship of Kentucky Backyard Bible Clubs are coming to all Challenge Houses the week of June 22nd! This "VBS on Steroids" is for youth ages 5 - 12. Check with your Challenge House's Ambassador for their specific time!
