Bravo, Life Saver Pool Fence Systems!

After Lennox's non-fatal drowning accident on Easter Sunday, one of the first questions we asked her family was about the pool barrier. While the family had a pool fence, they did not have a self-latching, self-locking gate.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Life Saver Pool Fence Systems, that changed almost immediately. Within days, they donated and installed a self-latching, self-locking gate for Lennox's family, adding an important layer of protection to help keep children safe around the water.

We are so grateful for community partners who step up when families need them most. Drowning prevention is about layers of protection, and a properly secured pool barrier can make all the difference.

Thank you, Life Saver Pool Fence Systems, for your quick response, your generosity, and your commitment to helping protect children and families.

30 seconds during non-swim times. That’s literally all it takes and when it’s most likely to lose your baby forever. You’re washing dishes, you’re changing another child’s diaper, you’re reading a text, or you’re reading this social media post.

Think about your water safety strategy. What are you teaching your loved ones? Is their confidence matched with competence? Or do they falsely think they have a strong swimming ability that the life jacket/puddle jumper is actually teaching them?

A Houston-area family is seeking more time for their 2-year-old daughter, Annelise Camp, after a Memorial Day drowning incident. Court documents show the family obtained a temporary restraining order as brain death testing approaches and they pursue a transfer to another hospital. MORE BELOW ⬇️

*Trigger warning: Death of a Child

The very last video I have of my 3-year-old son, Levi, is of him bobbing up and down in a Puddle Jumper.

His little legs kicking underwater, his eyes the spitting image of his daddy, and his older sisters, his happy grin, and his little voice saying “Cheese!”

This time-stamped video, counting down the precious minutes we had left until he would end up in this very same pool, less than two hours later.

*Continued in first comment...
