We are looking for sponsors of our Christmas Tree Sale this year. It is a great way to promote your business, or yourself, or to simply contribute to the good works supported by Rotary in our community. Rotarians, please share this!

Rachel Engle, who just finished her 27 month Peace Corps assignment in San Bartolome & Gualaceo, Ecuador, shared her experience as a Youth Development Coordinator with our Rotary Club on Monday.

Rachel also thanked the club for supporting her Peace Corps Grant that raised over $5,000 for athletic equipment for a Sports Club she formed from scratch for the youth of Gualaceo. She started with one basketball and one soccer ball and created a productive and encouraging space for young kids in Gualaceo. Our club donated $1,000 to help aid her project.

Have you been to a Friday meeting recently? If you weren't there, a lot of other members were! Good food at Hennigans! Good fellowship with Rotarians! Good programs! Good grief... don't miss out!

Rebecca Zalit, District 7390 Governor, visited our Monday meeting and shared her passion for Rotary. She asked us to expand our IMPACT in the community by inviting new members to join our meetings, projects, and social events. It was a great message that included her focus on collecting new books for elementary schools.

We enjoyed a fascinating presentation by Amy Zeigler, Senior Director of the Hershey Story Museum and Hershey Gardens, at our October 2nd meeting when she brought us pictures and information about the making of the movie, “HERSHEY-The True Story of an American Dreamer.”
