While you’re making your weekend plans, Down Home Ranch is still looking for volunteers to help with their poinsettias. These beautiful plants are an important fundraiser that helps support the Ranch’s programming, so every helping hand makes a difference! ❤️

✨ What a great September Chamber Luncheon! ✨

We were thrilled to welcome more than 70 attendees for another fantastic afternoon of connection, learning, and community!

A huge thank you to Bastrop County EMS District #3 and the 290 Extension Project for joining us as our guest speakers. Both presentations were incredibly informative, and we appreciate the time they took to share valuable updates and information with our members.

And of course, a Chamber luncheon isn’t complete without a great meal! A big thank you to Roadhouse Paige for preparing a delicious lunch for everyone to enjoy.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to the wonderful volunteers who helped us get everything ready and kept guest check-in running smoothly:

This Wednesday, we’re celebrating Acme Brick Company and the role they play in our Elgin community!

Acme Brick has been making quality building products for generations, and we’re proud to have them right here in Elgin. Beyond the bricks themselves, businesses like Acme are an important part of our local economy, providing jobs, supporting families, and helping our community continue to grow.

And when you drive around Central Texas and see beautiful brick homes, businesses, schools, and other buildings, there’s a good chance you're looking at a product that started its journey not too far from home.

The Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce is honored to share a very special Ribbon Cutting & Mixer celebrating the life of Larry David Lynn.
Larry was a longtime supporter of our business community and someone who believed deeply in Smithville. His service included serving as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce, and he was instrumental in helping create the B.E.S.T. County Wide Mixer we all know and love, which continues to develop and connect community leaders today.
We are incredibly grateful for Larry's years of leadership, service, friendship, and commitment to our Chamber and community. His contributions helped shape the organization we are today, and his impact will not be forgotten.
Please join us for one last Ribbon Cutting as we gather with Larry's family, friends, fellow business owners, and community members to celebrate a life that meant so much to Smithville.
