Your Child Is Invited — Elgin Juneteenth Children's Pageant 2026 | Registration Now Open!

Dear Parent or Guardian,
We are so excited to invite your child to participate in the Elgin Juneteenth Organization 2026 Children's Pageant! This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to celebrate culture, build confidence, and shine in front of their community. We would love to see them on that stage!

Once your registration is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email containing your Parent Packet and your child's personalized QR code for the People's Choice Vote Fundraiser.

The packet includes all event details, attire guidelines, important deadlines, and what to expect on pageant day.

• Date: Thursday, June 11, 2026
• Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Program begins at 6:45 PM)
• Location: City of Elgin Veterans' Memorial Park Expansion, Downtown Elgin, TX
• Registration Fee: $20.00 (non-refundable)

🏆 Categories
Category Ages Stage Presentation
Tiny Tots 3–5, Walk, smile, and wave, share a talent(Not required)

Duke & Duchess 6–8, Walk, smile, state your name and age, share one thing you like?, share a talent (Not required)

Prince & Princess 9–11, Walk, smile, state your name and age, answer: "What can you do to help our community?", share a talent (Not required)

People's Choice Award All Ages
1 Girl Winner + 1 Boy Winner — determined by community votes

👑 Awards & Recognition
• Division Winners (Tiny Tots, Duke & Duchess, Prince & Princess) will each receive a crown, sash, and an invitation to ride in the Juneteenth Parade on June 13, 2026.

• People's Choice Winners (1 Girl, 1 Boy) will be announced at the Juneteenth Celebration on June 13, 2026.
• Every contestant will be recognized for their participation and contribution to the event.

This fundraiser directly supports Juneteenth activities and youth programming right here in Elgin. It is a great way to teach your child about community involvement and working toward a goal — every vote counts!

Elgin, we’re getting our Juneteenth Float together and we’re ready to TURN IT UP for the kids but we need our community to help us bring this vision to life!

We already have a 16‑ft trailer locked in and ready to go… now we just need the magic to make it SHINE!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
🎨 Decorations — ANYTHING festive, colorful, Juneteenth‑themed, or creative 💡 Ideas — themes, props, signs, fabric, streamers, balloons, greenery, etc. 🚚 A truck with a hitch — someone who can pull the float during the parade 🌾 Bales of hay — we’d love to borrow some so our riders have a safe place to sit 🙌 Hands to help decorate — even 30 minutes makes a difference

Let’s come together and build a float that represents our culture, our pride, and our community spirit. If you can help in ANY way big or small we would truly appreciate it.

It's getting close to celebrate Elgin Juneteenth Organization, 27th year. We will start our Celebration on June 11th with our Children's Pageant, then move to June 12th with our Street Dance and Vendors in the park. Last but not least, June 13th we will have our Grand Parade(line up at BTW school), followed by Music, Vendors and Activities in the park.

Vendor and Parade applications are now available; also, if you would like to showcase your talent or donate your time during the entertainment, contact info and email is on the flyer attached.
