Please arrive 30 minutes before your category and be seated 15 minutes before judging begins.

Additional Judge Information

IBCA rules do not allow judges to judge consecutive meat categories.

Because of that, judges who participate in Chicken (12:00 PM) may also be eligible to judge Brisket (3:00 PM), but would not be able to judge Ribs (1:30 PM) in between.

Likewise, judges assigned to Ribs would generally only judge that single meat category during the main competition.

If your schedule allows, we encourage you to stay through the afternoon. Having judges available across multiple time slots gives us greater flexibility in seating assignments and helps us ensure every category is properly staffed.

The Saturday Flea Market at VFW Post 6115 will be canceled this week due to our BBQ Cook-Off event.

Instead, come out and enjoy a full day of BBQ, community fun, and competition! We are still looking for a few volunteer judges for the cook-off from 11 am - 4 pm, so if you’ve ever wanted to help judge some amazing BBQ while supporting local veterans and community events, this is your chance.

Come out and enjoy the festivities with us this weekend!
