The Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF) was established in 1995 as a faith-based, nonprofit corporation, with offices currently located in Perth Amboy and Edison, New Jersey. In 2010 the JRF received its first federal designation as a Community Action Agency, and in 2015 received its second as a Federally Qualified Health Center. Summer Splash Memories!
As we near the end of summer, let’s take a look back at one of our favorite days in the sun! 💦

On July 25, the JRF Bayside Family Success Center hosted Splash Masters — a day filled with water, laughter, music, ice cream, community resources, and plenty of summer fun where we got to spend the day with our awesome families! 🥳🍦🎶

This event was more than a year in the making, and we couldn’t have made it happen without the incredible community partners, organizations, staff, and volunteers who came together to make the day so special.

Our amazing PAAC staff, and AmeriCorps and STEP-UP volunteers, who spent their weekend helping make the event a success.

And an EXTRA shoutout to everyone who volunteered to take a turn in the dunk tank! 😂💦 We appreciate you taking one for the team!

Join Us! Celebrating Community. Transforming Lives.

On behalf of the JRF Board of Directors and the entire Jewish Renaissance Foundation family, we are thrilled to announce the 2026 JRF Annual Gala, taking place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the beautiful Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, NJ.

Whether you have celebrated with us in years past or will be joining us for the first time as a valued partner and community leader, we invite you to be part of this special evening. Our Annual Gala is an opportunity to come together, celebrate the work being done across Middlesex County, and experience what is possible when people unite around a shared cause.

Every day, JRF works alongside individuals and families to help them access the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive—from health care and family services to education and youth programs, nutrition, community development, and pathways toward self-sufficiency. Together, we help remove barriers, open doors, and create stronger, healthier communities.

Backpacks, health checks, sunshine & smiles!

On August 6, during National Health Center Week’s Population Focus Day, the JRF Bayside Family Success Center (FSC), in collaboration with the JRF Community Health Center and JRF’s Perth Amboy Alliance for Community (PAAC) Program, hosted a Back-to-School Health Fair at PAAC Park in Perth Amboy.

We welcomed 92 families and distributed 204 backpacks to local children and families. Additionally, they received free school supplies, health screenings, giveaways, and valuable community resources to help local children start the school year healthy, prepared, and strong!

Our JRF Community Health Center Medical Mobile Unit was also on site, where Dr. Cynthia Vuittonet, Chief Medical Officer, provided 10 blood pressure and glucose screenings and 5 medical visits to community members.

As we wrap up National Health Center Week, we’re closing out the week with a special highlight! 💙

On August 6, 2026, during Population Focus Day—a day celebrating Community Health Centers’ commitment to understanding the unique needs of their patients and communities and providing quality, accessible care—Bayside FSC and the JRF Community Health Center hosted our Back-to-School Health Fair in Perth Amboy.

We were honored to welcome Yanela Espinoza, Project Management Officer with the Office of Primary Care and Rural Health, Division of Health Promotion at the NJ Department of Health, who presented JRF with an official proclamation recognizing our contributions as we work together to build innovative care where it matters most.

Community Health Centers could not do this work without the talented, compassionate, and dedicated people who make it all happen. Every day, you provide high-quality, whole-person care that helps keep communities healthier.

To our JRF Community Health Center team, thank you for being on the front lines of care and serving our patients and community with compassion and excellence. As a small token of our appreciation, we treated our on-site staff to lunch today from one of their favorite local spots.
