🎭 Show Me the Money! 💰

Our JCC adult community had a fantastic time with Jonathan Broder's engaging presentation, "Show Me the Money: What Broadway Actors Really Earn." Attendees discovered surprising behind-the-scenes facts about Broadway life, tested their knowledge with fun trivia, asked thoughtful questions, and learned what it really takes to make a living under the bright lights of the Great White Way.

From understudy secrets to audition insights and the realities of a Broadway paycheck, the program was both educational and entertaining - and our audience proved they knew a thing or two about theater as well!

🎨 What happens when an artist refuses to follow the rules?
Our audience at the JCC explored that question with educator Janet Mandel during her fascinating presentation, Marcel Duchamp: The Alchemist of the Avant-Garde.

From challenging artistic traditions to redefining what art could be, Marcel Duchamp sparked lively discussion, curiosity, and plenty of “wow” moments. Guests discovered how his bold ideas influenced modern and contemporary art - and why his impact is still felt today, especially with the new retrospective at Museum of Modern Art.

💬 Which work of art has challenged the way you think about creativity or beauty? Share in the comments!
