The RBSAA board of trustees honoring a decade of Dean Lei’s leadership of Rutgers Business School yesterday evening at the RBSAA “One Night, Many Futures” benefit event. Networking, great food and drinks, and an exceptionally curated silent auction all to raise money for our RBSAA student scholarship fund. ❤️🖤

From watching her parents build a life through entrepreneurship, to finding her path at Rutgers Business School, to growing her career at Barclays—every chapter of Afsha’s journey has been guided by resilience, connection, and a willingness to step forward.

Today, as a working mom, she’s turned those same values into something deeply personal. Through The Hug Bank, she’s helping the next generation navigate life’s big moments with confidence, comfort, and love—proving that impact can start with something as simple as a story.

Balancing leadership as a VP at Barclays with her passion for storytelling, she’s creating change both in the boardroom and beyond.
