Unused or expired medications can pose a risk when they are left in the home. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day provides a safe way to dispose of medications you no longer need.

On October 24 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., participating collection sites will accept medications for disposal, no questions asked.

Safe storage and disposal can help prevent misuse, accidental poisoning and access to medications during a suicidal crisis.

This program is open to students, ages 13-17 and offers great opportunities to develop skills like public speaking, while building confidence and being part of something meaningful.
