This is a big loss for our community. Thank you to the Harris’s for all they have done for our community for the past five years. You were a wonderful addition to our community.

To our customers and community,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that we have made the difficult decision to close Martin’s Hardware & Pet. As many of you may be able to relate within your own households, the cost of everything has been continuing to rise over the last several years. Unfortunately, this has made our business no longer sustainable, and after much consideration, we’ve decided that the time has come to close our doors.

For the past 5 years, it has truly been an honor to be a part of and serve the East Troy community. Whether it was helping find the right solution for a project, seeing familiar faces walk through the doors often, or watching your kids and dogs grow up over the years, we are grateful to have been a part of this community's everyday lives.

We also want to sincerely thank our employees for the hard work, dedication, and care that they put into this store. We’ve seen our team go above and beyond for customers many times - from fixing a customer’s lamp to stopping by a customer’s house on their way home to give them a hand. Our team's friendliness and willingness to help is what set us apart.

We will be having a going-out-of-business sale to clear out our inventory. The store will be closed on Sunday, June 14th and Monday, June 15th as we prepare. The sale will begin on Tuesday, June 16th at 8am and will most likely run through the summer depending on inventory.

As we begin this next chapter, we hope you will stop in and support the store and our team in the weeks ahead.

The East Troy Lion’s Club annual parade will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 beginning at 12:00. It will begin on the corner of Main St/West St and travel east to the Village Square, north on Division St, west on Elm St, south on Beulah Av, and finish westbound on Graydon Av.

The parade route will be shut down at 11:00 and there is NO ACCESS to these streets with NO EXCEPTIONS. Please plan accordingly.
