The Upstate Global Health Institute is recruiting participants for a Post Treatment Lyme Disease research study.

You may be eligible if you’re between 18 and 75, have a diagnosis of Post Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS), and have had symptoms for more than 6 months after treatment.

We welcome people who have been experiencing symptoms for up to 10 years.

There are no costs to you or your insurance carrier to take part, and you’ll be compensated for your time and participation.

Cold season is here, and the numbers say a lot of us are feeling it. Nationally, overall respiratory illness is still very low, but flu is rising, rhinovirus and enterovirus are increasing, and COVID-19 is declining. The CDC expects this season to look much like last year.
The simplest things help most: get your flu shot (the CDC recommends it for everyone 6 months and older, ideally by the end of October), stay home when you’re sick, and reach out to your provider early if you’re at higher risk. If you have trouble breathing or symptoms are getting worse, get care right away.
