You heard that right friends! Our buddy, Matt Read, will be emcee for this year's Walk To End Alzheimer's- Syracuse. We can't wait for him to bring his signature energy to the stage!

You may recognize Matt as host and co-founder of the PBS cooking and entertainment show Spatchcock Funk, which he created alongside co-founder/director Alex DeRosa. Here at the Association, we recognize him as a friend and fellow warrior in the fight against Alzheimer's and dementia.

Researchers have developed blood tests that can detect Alzheimer’s biomarkers in a simpler, more scalable way than previous methods. However, this progress exceeds what Medicare can cover under current law.
