We recommend this article by Alanna Cooper. The rate of closiure and loss of mid-century modern synagogues has accelerated in the past two decades, and we continue to see more and more architecturally significant buildings lost.

The Fairmount Temple in Beachwood, Ohio was designed by Percival Goodman to address social crises not much different than today's.
