Rhode Island Highlanders Pipe Band From East Greenwich, RI, the RIHPB performs in local parades and events as well as being a competing Anyone is welcome to stop by anytime!

RIHPB is a Grade IV and V Scottish Pipe Band based out of East Greenwich, RI and a member of the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (EUSPBA). We participate in local parades and compete in Highland Games mostly in the Northeast. Check out our website rihighlanders.org for schedules, photos, and information. Practices are at the Varnum Memorial Armory, 6 Main Street, East Greenwich, RI on

Wednesdays 7-10. As a Band, we work together to achieve our goals which are: to proudly come together to play Pipe Band music to the best of our ability; to offer our services to the community in the form of parades and events; to continue to improve, grow and teach the musical art Pipes and Drums; to provide an opportunity to participate and enjoy the competitiveness of the Highland Games not only as soloists but also in a Band environment; to enjoy and share our music and our friendships.

*Providence Tartan Army Wins Award*

The Best of Rhode Island awards are hosted annually by Rhode Island Monthly magazine. The competition features a public Readers' Poll alongside Editor's Picks, which recognize top businesses, restaurants, services, and professionals across the state.

This special award recognises the impact the Tartan Army had on the local economy during World Cup 26 as well as the special bond created between Rhode Islanders & the Tartan Army.

Mike McGregor & Ian Cox from the Providence TA will attend the event on 23rd July on behalf of us all.

The best fans in the world being recognised again.
