Sherburne Community: we love seeing the fields being used but please leave them as you find them!

If you remove the tarps on the field put them back on! There are multiple teams still utilizing these fields for games and practice during the summer and it’s not fair to them to discover the field tarps were removed after a day of heavy rain.

🥳🥎⚾️The Parade of Champions & End of Year Celebration is still happening tonight! Pizza for players will be under pavilion at Paddleford.

🌧️Please note, both fields will remain tarp covered & no pick up games on infield dirt due to weather will occur tonight.

SALL Board would like to say THANK YOU to those who umpired for our program this spring. Simply put, there is no games without the umpire. Being an umpire is not an easy gig, although some from the sidelines would suggest it is but the professionalism, patience and genuine interest in the sport by our umps helps create a positive experience for all of the players.

If you see one of the individuals who did ump your athletes games this season, make sure you tell them thank you. We couldn’t do this without them. ⚾️🥎

⚾️Congrats to Mid York Minor Baseball Champs…Bohndorf Excavating!

In their rookie season as SALL coaches Dan Goldman and Dallas Perez guided the team to a 14-2 record, scoring 180 runs and allowing only 77 against them.

2nd place team for league is Eichler & Sons coached by Adam Smith & Mike Hess, the team finished 12-4, proving to be tough competition.

ALL of our baseball teams had great seasons & players wearing Sherburne on their jerseys should be commended for the way they represented the community with their sportsmanship & hustle.

🥎It’s a Sherburne Area softball sweep in the Mid York League!🥳

Sherburne’s Savurn Memorials minors softball team hung on this morning to clinch the championship! Coached by Zach Williams & Josh Hicks the minors team finished 9-1 on the season scoring 138 runs and only allowing 66 against them! 🤩

The community should not only be proud of all of our softball players skills & coaching but also the wonderful sportsmanship & attitudes displayed by ALL of SALL’s softball teams this season!

🥎Congrats to Mid-York Youth Major Softball Champions…Tyrrell’s Tents!

Team is coached by Janelle & Todd Fowlston. They finished with a 10-2 record scoring 152 runs while allowing 48 runs against them. 🥇

2nd place team Buckley’s coached by Stacy & Jeremy Hicks also had a strong season, finishing 7-5 overall. 💪

The future of softball in Sherburne is bright and we cannot wait to watch the journey continue for our 6th graders advancing to modified next spring and the growth of our returning SALL players!
