Next week, Labouré will welcome over 30 aspiring priests and religious to our Summer Class, now one of three classes offered each year to help discerners overcome the hurdle of education debt that prevents them from pursuing God’s call.

As many parishes across the nation see an increase in young adult attendance and new Catholics joining the Church, Labouré is expanding to meet an increased demand for our program.

The Labouré Society rejoices because another vocation has been rescued from education debt. Deacon James Musgrave is free to be ordained a priest this spring because of your generosity and faithfulness.

Deacon James Musgrave’s ordination will be at Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit on May 23rd, 2026. We are grateful for his response to God’s call, and we are grateful for your generosity in enabling his discernment of a vocation through the elimination of his education debt.
