Recent Labouré graduate Daniel Adamson was overjoyed to learn during a recent Labouré Live Training that he had mitigated his education debt and is thereby free to enter the Order of Friars Minor this August! Shares Daniel:

“I’d like to thank everyone who supports Labouré. YOU made it possible for me to pursue my vocation. My path to religious life wasn’t straight, and it wasn’t intuitive….Sometimes we forget that we were made for the love of God. It completely changed my world when I realized that. The ability to give a witness to the beauty of religious life, to the beauty of Franciscan spirituality, and the beauty of the Catholic Church, I’m very grateful for it. THANK YOU! Today marks 23 years since Labouré delivered its first education debt mitigation award check! So who was the first aspirant we helped? Her name is Sr. Mary Bethany, a Dominican Sister of St. Cecelia. Learn more about her here:

Growing up, I knew nothing of God. Theater was my passion and my life revolved around the stage. It was my drama teacher at the performing arts high school I attended that first informed me that there is a God who loves me immensely and has an incredible adventure planned for my life.

The Labouré Society's Executive Director, John Flanagan, was able to connect and have a wonderful conversation about Labouré with the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Gabriele Caccia. This took place at the Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM).

On July 18, 1830, Our Lady first appeared to our namesake, St. Catherine Labouré, in Paris, France. Months later, she would share with her the vision of the Miraculous Medal.
