Minnesota Krampus is a 501c3 educational non-profit charity with the mission to preserve and promote the alpine winter traditions of St Nikolaus and his Krampus, in Minnesota and the upper Midwestern states. We are available for festivals all around Minnesota to bring our educational booth to or to bring Krampus alive. We continue to grow the number of events we attend each winter season (roughly

from mid-November through mid-December) - including making special educational visits to all levels of education (K-12 and university) - so be sure to check out our events page. We also run an annual college scholarship for students interested in learning more about the Alps and the alpine people. If it isn’t evident already... the pairing of St Nikolaus and Krampus is an important one - St Nikolaus awards gifts/treats/toys to good children and he instructs Krampus to punish the naughty children. The pairing is a constant reminder to children (from 2 to 92) that decisions/actions have consequences in life and that we must always strive to be better people (to those around us and to ourselves). If you don’t care about the story of St Nikolaus and his Krampus - ok... we’re not here to force people to like what we do. But if you find a connection to St Nikolaus, his Krampus, and their story... the way we have... then we welcome you to be a fan, attend our events, and support our educational mission through purchasing shirts/scarves/hats at our booths or online.

Happy KRAMPUS IN JULY Day! We're celebrating Krampus in July with our friends at Torg Brewery () this evening so come in from the HEAT and enjoy some Krampus fun, chat with our members about our organization, and be the FIRST to get our newest (2026-2027) scarf!

We are beyond excited to announce that the Minnesota Krampus Academic Scholarship for the 2026-2027 school year is officially OPEN! As a non-profit dedicated to cultural preservation, we’re not just about the bells and the birch switches, we’re committed to supporting the next generation of scholars and folklore enthusiasts in our community.

Whether you’re deep into history, the arts, or any other field of study, we want to help you on your journey. Think of it as a little reward for keeping the traditions alive and maybe staying out of the basket this year! ❄️

This is our official MN Krampus watch party of the 140th St Paul Winter Carnival's Vulcan Victory Torchlight Parade 2026.

Waldmann and the beergarden opens at noon. Dress for the weather - party will be on the beer garden. Waldmann have firepits burning and beer and Glühwein (hot mulled wine) flowing for guests, Vulcans and Boreas Royalty alike!

No reservations/no tickets required. Please consider walking, carpooling or taking an Uber as parking will be scarce during these events.

Stay warm with Food, Beer, wine, non-alcoholic options, and Glühwein will be available for purchase all day.

Parade starts at 5:15pm

St Nik and Krampus visit the biergarden from 4pm-5pm for pictures on the beer garden, then at 5pm cheer on the parade floats in front of Waldmann until the Krampus vehicle arrives in position #36 of 63.

Each item is $20 plus a flat rate $7 shipping fee, every additional item shipped is an additional $3 (shipping within US).
