Good Deal Thrift We are Bridging the Gap Together Inc. a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We operate strictly on donations. Wednesday is smaller donations only.

Good Deal Thrift was started to create job opportunities for the intellectually challenged in our community. We accept donations Monday through Friday from 8am to 3:30pm.

💙 From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. 💙

I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for Red River Area Special Olympics, for our athletes. The way so many of you have rallied around us means more to me than I could ever put into words.

This program is about so much more than sports. It’s about giving our athletes opportunities to shine, building friendships, creating memories, and reminding every athlete that they are valued, capable, and important. ❤️

So many of you have reached out asking, “How can I volunteer?” That question means the world to me!

My daughter, Mattie, created a step-by-step navagation of the volunteer portal, where you can find opportunities to get involved and help support our athletes and events.

Whether you can volunteer for an entire event, help for an hour, lend a skill, or simply show up and cheer on our athletes—there is a place for you here.

For the Fall we only have Bowling, but in the Spring we will have Music and Art, Co****le, Athletics, and Young Athletes.

Thank you for believing in what we are doing, for standing beside our athletes, and for reminding me that we are never doing this alone.

🎶🎨 RED RIVER AREA SPECIAL OLYMPICS MUSIC & ART FESTIVAL — LOCATION UPDATE! 🎨🎶

We have some exciting news! After our previous post looking for a location for our Music & Art Festival, Councilman James Dry went above and beyond to help us secure a location that may be even better than the Event Center! ❤️

We are thrilled to announce that next year’s Red River Area Special Olympics Music & Art Festival will be held at the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Durant Community Center! 🎉

This wonderful facility will give our athletes a great space to enjoy a day filled with music, art, fun, and friendship — all while making memories that will last a lifetime.

A HUGE thank-you to Councilman James Dry for stepping up, listening to what our athletes needed, and working so hard to help make this possible. We also want to give a special thank-you to Don Hyde for setting everything in motion and helping make a quick resolution possible. Your support of our Special Olympics athletes means more than you know! ❤️

We are also incredibly grateful to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma for allowing us to use the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Durant Community Center and helping us create a special day for our athletes.

We can't wait to see our athletes, coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters there! We will be having this event in February 2027. The rush to get a location stemmed from have to get our sanctions done by November 1st. 🎨🎶❤️

Update: I am going to meet with Counsilman James Dry tomorrow and see if the new Senior Center will work. Everyone please cross all your fingers and toes that it will.

🎶🎨 VENUE NEEDED! 🎨🎶

Red River Area Special Olympics is looking for a venue to host our upcoming Music & Art Festival! ❤️

We have traditionally used the Event Center at the Choctaw Casino free of charge, however they are no longer able to provide the venue for free and we cannot afford to pay the asking price with out some extensive fundraising.

We are looking for a space that can accommodate approximately 400 athletes, with room for:

• 🍽️ Lunch tables, the schools could rotate.

• 🎨 24 tables for art projects, judges, and entry.

• 🎤 A sound system for our music and activities and table in this area.

• ♿ Accessible/handicap restrooms.

Our goal is to provide our athletes with a fun, day filled with music, creativity, friendship, and inclusion! 🥰

If you know of a facility, church, community center, school, event venue, or organization that might be willing to help us, please let me know. I have to have something setup by November 1st to get it on the Spring calendar.

We would be incredibly grateful for any leads, suggestions, or offers to help make this special event possible! ❤️ This is my favorite event of the season and I can't stand the idea of not having it because of $$$.
