🍂🎄HOLIDAY MEAL VOUCHER PROGRAM🎄🍂
The Holiday Meal Voucher Program provides eligible Choctaw families in need with vouchers to help purchase holiday meals.
📅 APPLICATION DATES
🦃 October 1 – October 24
Eligible applicants will receive both Thanksgiving and Christmas meal vouchers.
🎄 October 25 – November 21
Eligible applicants will receive a Christmas meal voucher only.
📬 VOUCHER MAILING DATES
• Thanksgiving Vouchers: November 13
• Christmas Vouchers: December 11
Vouchers are valid only for specific products at select retailers in your area.
✅ ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Be a Choctaw Nation Tribal Member at least 18 years old, OR a non-tribal member at least 18 years old who has at least one Choctaw Nation Tribal Member dependent in the household.
• Meet the program’s low-income requirements.
• Reside within the Choctaw Nation Reservation.
📄 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
1. Proof of Residency: A utility bill for natural gas, water, or electricity. Propane bills and invoices are not accepted.
2. Current Income Verification: Documentation for all household members, such as pay stubs, SSI benefits, Social Security statements, unemployment benefits, employer furlough letters, child support payments, alimony, or mineral rights income.
3. Address Verification: The utility bill must be in the applicant’s name or spouse’s name.
4. No-Income Verification: Household members with no income must upload a no-income verification document.
⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER: Applications must be submitted within the appropriate application period. October 24 is the deadline to apply for both Thanksgiving and Christmas vouchers.
