In honor of National Teach Ag Day today, our students would love to say a big thank you to our very own Ag teachers, Mr. & Mrs. Adams!

Today, we want to thank them for their hard work, and dedication towards our chapter. Without our agricultural educators, we wouldn’t be the chapter we are today.

We are so thankful for everything Mr. And Mrs. Adams do for Durant FFA and all the opportunities, memories, and lessons they provide for us!

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Adams!!💙💛

🥵Bryan County Free Fair may have been hot this year, but our Durant FFA kids were on fire‼️🔥 Starting with our education board set up on Wednesday. Thursday we moved animals in the barns, weighed, washed, and clipped. Friday our livestock judgers put their skills to the test and reaped the benefits with a 2nd place Sr FFA team (Cedar Derby, Kaydee Williams, Bethany Randolph, and Hynlee Briedwell. Tinley Adams was the 2nd high Jr 4-H individual. Following that we had 2 teams of corn hole tournament participants. Friday evening was the goat show where we had Grand doe goat shown by Cedar Derby, grand wether goat shown by Parker Hanning, and Reserve Grand wether goat shown by Tinley Adams who also won Junior Goat Showman. Saturday Emily exhibited the Champion Brahman heifer, Archer Brumley had Champion Brahman steer, and Abby Bullard had Champion Crossbred steer and Grand Market steer. Dutton Adams had the Champion Bucket calf. Following the cattle show we had several participate in Ag Olympics in which the winning team had two of our members Noah Brumley and Riggin Adams on it for the intermediate division. We could not be more proud of these amazing kiddos and how hard they work, and prove just how talented and driven they are. Stay tuned for even more accomplishments and leadership from our amazing group of Durant FFA members, but for now enjoy a few pictures that highlight our kids this past week‼️💙💛

Our very own Kaydee Williams was selected by the state FFA officer team to perform the Vice President’s part of opening ceremonies at C**T Conference‼️
This is such an honor and privilege for her and she did not disappoint ‼️
She is a positive light and a great role model to so many FFA members and she makes us proud‼️
