Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation

Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation Today. Tomorrow. Together. Give where you live, and you can make a real difference in our community!

The NCCF provides grants and support to a wide variety of charitable organizations. We are structured to support the most pressing needs in the community today and, as these needs change, so will our funding focus. In addition, we identify current and emerging issues, stimulate resources to address those needs and help our community prepare for the future.

Good morning everyone! ☀️

It has been incredible watching the excitement and engagement continue to grow throughout the campaign. Seeing your stories shared, reading the comments, and watching communities rally behind your organizations has been so inspiring. You are all doing such meaningful work, and it deserves to be celebrated and seen.

As we head into the final stretch, here are a few quick reminders:

✨ Engagement only counts on NCCF’s ORIGINAL Facebook posts
✨ Every like, comment, and share counts as a vote
✨ Staff, volunteers, board members, and organizations themselves can all participate
✨ People can vote for more than one organization

This campaign is about so much more than funding. It’s helping shine a light on the incredible nonprofits strengthening our communities every day.
Thank you all for bringing this campaign to life with such enthusiasm, creativity, and heart.

Introducing !

Over the next two weeks, we're sharing real stories from the incredible nonprofit organizations doing meaningful work right here in our community, made possible through NCCF grantmaking! And you get to help decide who receives a little extra support.

Here's how it works: Each post in our series features a story from one of our grantee partners. Read their story, feel inspired, and show your support by liking, commenting, and sharing directly from NCCF's original post. Engagement on the original post counts as your vote, so every reaction matters!

The top 3 organizations with the most engagement will receive a mini-grant from NCCF.

Voting runs May 18–29. Winners announced June 5.

You can support more than one organization, so don't hold back. Like, comment, share, and invite your friends to join in celebrating the people who make Chautauqua County stronger.

Community Funds are at the very heart of what we do at NCCF, and they're the cornerstone of our Today. Tomorrow. Together. campaign. Thanks to the generosity of donors who've built and contributed to these funds, we're able to invest in the organizations that make our county shine.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible team from National Grid who spent their morning hours yesterday volunteering with us at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation! From the moment they arrived, they were ready to work with smiles on their faces.

This amazing group rolled up their sleeves and got to work assembling picnic tables, weeding, landscaping, spreading mulch, and even tackling our parking lot by filling potholes and leveling gravel. Because of their efforts, our space is more welcoming, more functional, and ready to better serve everyone who walks through our doors.

We are especially grateful to Mark Johnson, Senior Community Manager of Customer & Community Engagement, for his thoughtful coordination and generosity. In addition to organizing this week of service, he ensured we had everything we needed: picnic tables, supplies, and materials. His words about National Grid’s commitment to community truly came to life today.

These picnic tables will be used not only by NCCF staff, but by community members, partners, and visitors for years to come. A lasting reminder of what can happen when people come together with purpose.

Today, your service strengthens our ability to support the work happening across northern Chautauqua. Tomorrow, the impact of your generosity will continue to grow as this space serves our community for years to come. And together, we are connecting people with purpose and creating a more vibrant, prosperous northern Chautauqua.
