Our boys are going to battle this weekend in Jamestown. Up until our show on November 21st, at the Dunkirk Fairgrounds, this place is the only place that feels like a hometown fight for us. It’s probably one of the most well done tournaments we’ve been too. Kids walk out to music and smoke like a WWE entrance crowd gets hyped up. It’s a damn good time. I’ll probably lose my voice by the second fight but we love doing this. I hope to see a lot of people from Dunkirk, NY there.

Yesterday we went to the Puerto Rican Festival in Rochester NY for a boxing tournament. Immediately as we got there the parade started and it was beautiful to see the city embrace the local culture. Even better then that was to see my boxers excited to have their culture celebrated. Immediately when I got there I dropped my boxers off to be weighed in and went to find parking. When I got to the boxing ring I saw one of my boxers named Joseph Reyes in a Puerto Rican cowboy hat with a Puerto Rican flag happy as ever lol During the competition Carlos Santiago fought his first fight ever and did amazing for his first fight. He ended up bringing back the gold. Walberto DeJesus had a hard fought fight that turned into a brawl against a good fighter and he also came home with a big W. Now this next fighter I would like to say has come a long way. Yaddiel Anbres Benitez had a rematch against a silver glove finalist where his opponent got the best of him in the first competition. This time around he showed so much progress. He fought beautifully and a lot of the crowd thought he should have won but he ended up coming up just short. Even though it was a loss it was awesome as a coach to see his progress. That’s a personal win in my book. Thank you to Coach Jhesen Sanchez for all the help. Yesterday was truly an awesome day for 2XL Boxing. If anyone wishes to donate or know of any grant opportunities please contact me.

Went to Lockport and came home with a big W!!!! Yaddiel Benitez has come a long way. We’re all proud of him.

Keagan Gollnitz had his first fight and got the jitters out and did very well. Didn’t get the win but got the life lessons and experience.
