Moving somewhere new is exciting. It can also feel a little overwhelming — until you realize you don't have to figure it out alone.

That's exactly what the Live CHQ Workforce Ambassador Program is built for.
Aubrey connected with Erica Rose — a Chautauqua County entrepreneur and Live CHQ Workforce Ambassador and the two spent the day doing what locals actually do here.

They started the morning at a CHQ Professionals networking meetup, where Aubrey walked in knowing one familiar face and left knowing a whole room full of them. ☕️

Then they headed to the Roger Tory Peterson Institute in Jamestown — a world-class nature museum set on a 27-acre preserve with trails winding through hemlock forest and wildflower gardens — completely free to walk. The kind of place you pass by for years before realizing what's right in front of you.

Lunch landed at Labyrinth Press Company in downtown Jamestown — a coffee shop and fresh vegetarian restaurant with an espresso bar, seasonal patio, and craft b**r bar upstairs — where the conversation turned to entrepreneurship, yoga studios, and what it actually looks like to build something here.

One day. A new connection. A clearer picture of life in Chautauqua County.

That's what the Workforce Ambassador Program does.
