At 23:08 We were on our way back from an EMS call and the Chief and First Assistant Chief came across a tractor-trailer that struck the bridge right next to the fire hall. We would like to thank JJ'S Towing & Service. and the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department for their help last night.

On a whole different note, if you need heavy or light towing, don't be afraid to check out this company. They are top-notch last night and on all other calls, they have been on for our department.

West Town did something today. After 75 years we have a really nice sign on the building. A big thank you to Chautauqua Sign for helping us with this.

At least nobody got hurt in this. We all have to say, vigilant, when we see a high load coming down, Willow road. We have to give them a little room. So if they strike the bridge, no community member gets hurt.

Just so everybody's aware, route, 5 bridge by Temple RD will be closed as of Friday for the summer. You can take Willow road to temple to get around it or temple to Willow, depending on your direction you're heading.
