Today, we proudly celebrate Juneteenth—a day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and honors a legacy of resilience, perseverance, progress, and hope.

The Brothers of Pi Lambda Lambda Chapter were honored to participate in the 2026 Prince William County Juneteenth & Me Festival, joining our community in celebrating freedom, culture, and unity.

Held at Pfitzner Stadium, the festival brought together families, organizations, and community leaders for a day filled with fellowship, education, entertainment, and empowerment. Events like these remind us of the importance of preserving our history, celebrating our achievements, and continuing the pursuit of equality and opportunity for all.

The Brothers of Pi Lambda Lambda Chapter encourage the community to join us in celebrating freedom, culture, and progress at the 2026 Prince William County Juneteenth & Me Festival!

On Friday, June 19, 2026, the community will gather at Pfitzner Stadium for a day of fellowship, education, entertainment, and empowerment under this year's theme:

"Black Renaissance: Leading the Path Forward."

This signature community event will feature:
🎶 Live performances
🛍️ Local vendors
🎨 Art exhibits
👧🏽 Youth activities
📚 Educational workshops
🤝 Opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate our shared history and future

Hampton Middle School recently hosted its annual end-of-year “Grill on the Hill” celebration. Following yesterday’s event for 6th and 7th graders, today’s celebration was dedicated to the school’s 8th-grade students as they marked the completion of another successful school year.

Representing Pi Lambda Lambda Chapter were Brothers Ron Blanch (Basileus), David Hardin, Carl Ross, Rodney Downey, Emmit Fletcher, and DJ Steve McFreak, who proudly supported the students, faculty, and community throughout the event.

The Brothers played a vital role in ensuring the celebration's success by assisting with setup, grilling, serving food, event operations, and cleanup.

Thank you, Brothers, for your unwavering commitment to service and for helping make PLL’s Social Action Program the benchmark for excellence in the Third District. Your dedication continues to strengthen our community and create memorable experiences for our youth. Together, we uplift, inspire, and serve.

🚧🌍 Making a Difference, One Mile at a Time! 🌍🚧

, in partnership with VDOT and the Adopt-A-Highway Program, proudly participated in a highway cleanup effort along Prince William Parkway earlier today (Saturday, June 6, 2026).

Under the leadership of Brother David Hardin, Chairman of the Social Action Committee, six Brothers of Pi Lambda Lambda Chapter dedicated their morning to preserving the beauty of our community. In just two hours, the Brothers collected six bags of litter, helping make Prince William Parkway cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for the citizens of Prince William County.

This effort reflects Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.’s unwavering commitment to service and uplifting the communities we serve. We are proud to continue leading by example through meaningful acts of social action and community engagement.
