Young Marines The Young Marines is a youth education and service program for boys and girls, ages 8 through high school.

The program focuses on teaching the values of leadership, teamwork and self-discipline, so its members can live a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

🎓 As we close out this year’s ‘Senior Sunday Spotlight Series’, we’re proud to recognize YM/SgtMaj Chingiz Bahadur, the 2025/26 National Young Marine of the Year from Potomac River Young Marines in Washington, D.C.

From National Young Marine of the Year to college student and athlete, Chingiz continues to demonstrate the leadership, discipline, and resilience he developed throughout his Young Marines journey. The experiences, challenges, and relationships built through the Young Marines have helped prepare him for success both in college and beyond.

When asked about his favorite part of Young Marines, his answer was simple:

"The family you gain along your journey. I have friends and adult volunteers across the entire country who I consider my family. Every event you attend, you grow together, make new memories, and most importantly build those strong bonds with the people around you."

👏 Thank you, Chingiz, for your outstanding leadership and service. Best of luck as you take on wrestling for Marymount University while pursuing your degree. ⭐ We can't wait to see where your future takes you!

🚗🇺🇸 Classic cars, community connections, and future leaders—it doesn't get much better than that!

The Copper State Young Marines in Prescott Valley, AZ recently partnered with Marine Corps League Detachment 906 for another successful day of community outreach. Throughout the event, the Young Marines connected with attendees, shared information about the program, and highlighted the many opportunities available to youth through the organization.

🇺🇸 Giving back and honoring those who served.

The Buffalo Ridge Young Marines in Worthington, MN spent two weekends supporting local veterans and communities through cleanup projects at Freedom Shore / Veterans Memorial Park, Hersey Cemetery, the Brewster Veterans Memorial, and the Brewster American Legion.
We’re proud of these Young Marines for their hard work, teamwork, and commitment to service.

Adventure, teamwork, and unforgettable memories! 🎣🎯

Young Marines from the 2nd California Regiment Young Marines in Young Marines 6th Division spent an exciting day at Mike Raahauge's Shooting Enterprises, enjoying everything from fishing to marksmanship instruction. The adventure day gave these young leaders an opportunity to learn new skills, build friendships, and create lasting memories while enjoying the outdoors together.

Experiences like these help develop self-confidence, teambuilding skills, and camaraderie—the foundation of the Young Marines program.

LSU-bound and ready to make an impact, YM/SgtMaj Williams is turning her goals into reality!

Her plans after high school include:
• Attending LSU and major in Forensic Psychology
• Pursuing opportunities through Army or Naval ROTC
• Serving others through a career in federal law enforcement is a long-term goal

🇺🇸 They didn’t just finish the Bataan Memorial Death March — they conquered it.

The Red Rock Young Marines of Miyamura High School proudly completed the 2026 Bataan Memorial Death March at White Sands Missile Range, with every Young Marine crossing the finish line in honor of the heroes of Bataan.
Through grit, teamwork, discipline, and determination, these young leaders represented their school, community, and the Young Marines program with pride and honor every step of the way.
