The Blacktop Sports Club is a nonprofit organization established for the purpose of developing youth in the area of sports, with an emphasis on promoting the type of Sportsmanship, Education, Leadership, and Fellowship that will have a positive impact not only in sports, but in homes, schools, and daily living. Our club was established in 1995 and as a result a summer basketball program was launch
ed called Blacktop Basketball the program started with approximately 40 youth and quickly escalated to (250-300) youth, both boys and girls in Prince William County and the surrounding area. From 1995-2001 Blacktop Sports Club worked in unison with the Town Of Dumfries government located in Dumfries, VA in an effort to teach and develop youth the fundamentals of basketball as well as the fundamentals of life. Our future goals are to establish basketball clinics, and life skill courses to youth of all ages. The founders of Blacktop Sports Club are Joseph Graham (CEO), Bob Hill, and Eric Huckaby currently residing in Prince William County for the past 15 years, they are men with a heart and concern for youth. As a club who cares we are striving to meet the needs of our youth, using basketball as a vehicle to get us there! Our program is a very demanding program. It demands time, talent, and finances, but as you can see our staff is committed ! We volunteer our time, talent, and finances towards practicing, coaching, and mentoring !
