Come walk with the USW in the Duluth Memorial Day Parade to honor those who served their country and never came home. Line up at 10:30am on 59th Ave. between Raleigh & Grand. Parade starts at 12:30.

RED BOOK: Just a reminder that this coming Monday (May 18) is our car sign action. We're asking everyone to display a union sign in their parked car while you're at work. If you don't have a sign, you can grab one from anyone on the Communication & Action Team (CAT), pick one up at the union office (Room 202 of the Labor Temple) or make your own. And don't be shy about snapping photos of your handiwork to share on social media and to send to [email protected]. Solidarity!

Contract negotiations are underway between United Steelworkers Local 9460 and Essentia Health. At issue is the contract covering the 800 tech workers at Essentia's facilities in the Twin Ports.

The union is calling on all workers covered by the Red Book contract to display union signs in their parked cars on May 18. You can get a car sign from either your union steward, a member of the CAT (Communication & Action Team) or at the Local 9460 office in the Labor Temple.

Negotiations are set to start up again on May 19. These car signs are part of an escalating series of actions the union is organizing. Be sure to get your co-workers involved! We're all in this together ~ solidarity gets results!
