Grateful for partners like Rocket Fizz Bridge Park! Through their Candy and Community kickoff event, they have chosen DEF to be the recipient of giving for their soft opening until this Sunday! Their generosity will fuel novel teaching projects in classrooms across Dublin City Schools this fall!

THANK you Washington Township Fire Department-Dublin OH for your continued support of DEF through grant funding in the area of Alcohol and Drug Awareness and Prevention.

We’re proud to support programs that help our students make healthy choices!

Washington Township has partnered with the Dublin Education Foundation (DEF) to provide $15,000 in funding over three years to support drug and alcohol awareness and prevention programs for Dublin City Schools students.

The funding comes from Washington Township’s share of the OneOhio Opioid Settlement and is being provided in annual $5,000 installments from 2024–2026.

DEF works to enrich learning opportunities throughout Dublin City Schools through grant funding and community partnerships, and we’re grateful to work together to support programs focused on preventing youth substance misuse.

It’s another example of how community partnerships can make a meaningful difference for our students and families. 🍀

DEF is honored to be included in this training day to see our grant recipients, share tips and tricks for a winning DEF grant and hear about DEF grant impact across the district! Clover Coffee🍀, started by two Dublin City Schools grads and two parents, is another LEAD mainstay and serves delicious morning drinks and smiles to attendees as they begin a new school year!

"This summer Sowah Mensah and Josh Ryan will be co-teaching an extended Level 3 class for the first time locally. This authentic Ghanian and Afro-Cuban music experience helps to push us as musicians, raising the bar of our personal music journey, and in turn helping us to provide more active music making opportunities for our students. This year many Dublin educators will be participating in the workshop; we would love for you to join us in the joyful, musical celebration on the last day!"

LEADublin is an annual gathering of DCS educators who come together to share best practices as well as innovative project ideas that can be shared across the district. Thanks to our educators who commit their time and energy to this annual local conference! DEF is proud to be sharing about grants at a session there once again!
