Perhaps you've heard about the Racial Justice and Unity Center (RJUC) and our assessment tools, but you still have questions about how it all works? Here's a short step by step guide:

1. Go to https://rjuc.org/assessment and click on Take the Assessments. The assessment tool was developed through a national research project in partnership with Barna, North Park University, The University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Lilly Endowment.

2. After completing the assessment, choose one of our RJUC coaches for a full report debrief. Each of our coaches have gone through a rigorous application process to ensure that they meet the requirements to provide coaching in racial justice and related topics in Christian contexts.

3. After the debrief, you’ll get a copy of your full report. The full report will show strengths and specific areas for growth, as well as biblical and theological passages to ground your knowledge and action regarding racial justice.

4. Continuing working with an RJUC coach to grow in your understanding and action. You can choose any of our RJUC coaches for an ongoing coaching relationship to help you continue to grow.

Meet Nicholas Rowe, one of our RJUC coaches!

Nick has been a theoretician and practitioner of racial and ethnic conflict transformation and reconciliation for over 30 years. As a historian, he applies the study of the past to inculcate in students and clients the ability to situate themselves outside their own experience and conceptual frameworks to facilitate mutual respect and collaboration. In vocational ministry, he's also worked with clients to promote post-conflict healing and restoration from the effects of racism and ethnic-based identity conflict. His experiences have had him working in the U.S. and the African continent with educational institutions, churches, parachurch organizations, and non-profits to mature and restore communities seeking to model the diverse representation of the Kingdom of God.

Meet Aundre D. Washington, one of our RJUC coaches!

As a disciple of Jesus Christ, and as one who strives to be a catalyst for change, Aundre also seeks to disciple others in the area of racial justice.
