Every survivor has a story, and every story has the power to save a life.

In this segment of Living the Dream, our Board President, Joe Matessa, shares his personal journey with prostate cancer and why he has dedicated his time and heart to helping Brave Men fulfill its mission.

Joe's willingness to speak openly about his diagnosis is exactly how we break the stigma surrounding men's health. When survivors share their experiences, they give other men the courage to have the conversation, get screened, and take charge of their health.

Joe, thank you for your leadership, your passion, and your commitment to ensuring that no man has to face prostate cancer alone. We are grateful for everything you do for Brave Men and the families we serve.

What an unforgettable night. 💙

BLUE: Runway for Hope was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a mission bigger than itself. From the survivors who walked the runway, to the families, supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and guests who filled the room with love and purpose…thank you for helping make this year’s event such an incredible success.

Because of your support, Brave Men is able to continue funding Brave Boxes for men battling prostate cancer and move forward in our mission to launch a mobile PSA testing unit focused on early detection and awareness.

We also made so many meaningful new connections and partnerships that will help us continue growing this mission even further moving forward and for that, we are deeply grateful.
