RAD’ s Role - Teton Valley’s Stewards of Service, Community and Environment

Mission - Deliver safe and dependable trash removal for the health, safety and welfare of the community, and, in alignment with community goals, increase the community’s overall diversion rate by providing sustainable and scalable services for, easy participation in, and education about diversion and recycling. Objectives & Goals
• Provide safe, dependable waste and recycling collection services County-wide
• Reduce the tonnage shipped to Circular Butte Landfill
• Offer “Diversion-Incentivizing-Rate-Options” • Provide an increased number of service options
• Increase the volume of “clean” recyclable materials
delivered to the Transfer Station
• Identified value of diversion over time
• Determine RAD’s value to Teton County over time
• Keep the process of waste management simple
• Improve public awareness and education about responsible waste management
• Increase knowledge of service options with a substantial communication plan

Thats some recycling in progress!!!

Those water bottles from the boil order? We’d love to see the empties here next. 👀♻️

Bring your empty #1 plastic water bottles to any Teton County community recycling site. We’ll sort and bale them here, then ship the roughly 1,000-pound bales to a recycling distributor, such as in Logan, Utah, for the next step in their recycling journey.

From there, recycled PET can become new bottles, fleece, carpet and more.

SERVICE ALERT - ONLY IMPACTS FRIDAY 6/19 CUSTOMERS

The Teton County Transfer Station is closed In observation of the Juneteenth holiday, therefore...

RAD Customers normally serviced on Friday 6/19 will have service 1 day SOONER on Thursday 6/18.

No other RAD Customers or Routes are impacted.
Regularly scheduled service days will resume the following week.

AS ALWAYS - you must place your trash and recycling out AT 6AM on the morning of your service day
