✈️ EAA Chapter 1358 Kit Build Project 🔨🛩️
Our young builders were back at it today, getting hands-on experience with foam shaping and fiberglass work!
A special thank you to Jenny Hendrix, owner of Replica Plastics-Customs, for generously donating precut foam pieces for our Kit Build Project. We truly appreciate community partners who invest in the next generation of aviation!
Today, the kids took those precut pieces and shaped them into their final forms before completing the first two stages of the fiberglass layup process.
Every Kit Build session introduces these young people to new tools, techniques, problem-solving skills, and the craftsmanship that goes into aircraft construction. We’re proud of the work they’re putting in and love watching their skills and confidence grow with each step.
