Our mission is to rehabilitate, and release orphaned or injured wildlife native to Illinois. We are a small rehabilitation center located in Northern Illinois.

We are a licensed 501c3 wildlife rescue serving Ogle, Lee, Whiteside, DeKalb, and Winnebago counties. Our main focus is rehabbing and releasing crazy, sweet, smart squirrels. We are a non-profit organization that depends solely on public donations.

Nothing better than a Fall morning and a happy squirrel. This weekend make some time to get out and enjoy the season.

Our squirrels this year did not grasp the concept of Halloween pumpkin carving. Last year they were more creative. Hopefully next year they will do better.

Good morning from Villa #4 here at Squirrels Gone Wild Rescue & Rehab . Timber, Forest, Tiny, and George are enjoying the fall day. Hopefully you can get out and enjoy the beautiful fall day too.

You asked: How's George doing? Well he is doing amazing!! He might be tiny, but he doesn't know that. He is hanging out in villa #4 getting ready for his release back to nature. He is good friends with Timber, Forest, and Tiny. How awesome are they?

As the seasons change and weather gets colder, we start to see more squirrels looking for new homes. Nesting boxes are a great way to help your furry little friends this winter. We have several boxes all ready for new tenants, keep following to watch them move in.
