It is with great appreciation that we take this opportunity to recognize Amber Schmidt, our outgoing President of the Dixon Rotary Club, for all of her hard work and dedication to Rotary and to this community. While we are fortunate to retain Amber on our Executive Committee, her efforts as President were meaningful and impactful to our organization.
Thank you for your continued service Amber! 💙💛

🍲 Over lunch, I spoke with the Dixon, Illinois Rotary Club, providing some reflection on my experiences in Springfield as a freshman State Senator. Thanks for the opportunity to chat!

💧I was also able to get one of their stainless steel water bottles…which is a good thing, considering how many microplastics are probably already in me thanks to Army equipment. One of the Rotary’s missions is clean drinking water. Thanks, Dixon Rotarians!

🛻 Next I’ll be heading to Bureau County. Always happy to speak with groups interested in a legislative update—one of the best parts of this job!

We appreciated hearing about the volunteer hours through the Impact Program they have participated in, as well the subjects they both have excelled in.
