The Village of Progress recently celebrated its Annual Banquet, a remarkable evening dedicated to honoring outstanding individuals and partners for their exceptional service, personal triumphs, and dedication to our community.

This year we celebrated the following distinguished individuals and organizations.

Janie Etnyre Volunteer of the Year: Mike Mueller, for his hands-on commitment to the Village.

Robert Stouffer Special Recognition Award: The Oregon Methodist Church, celebrating their ongoing commitment, vital nutrition program partnership, and friendship to the Village community.

Rick Hahn Partnership of the Year Award: The City of Oregon, for extraordinary partnership, shared vision, and dedication to building a stronger community.

Robert Stahl Friendship Award: Abby Wolff, highlighting her meaningful connections and warmth toward others.

John Herrmann Distinguished Improvement Award: Levi Schier, recognizing his exceptional personal growth and dedication to continuous progress.

Robert Moehle Personal Achievement Award: Karl Hilliard, in celebration of his significant personal milestones and individual triumphs.

Fred Smith Competitive Employment Award: Kari Smith, honoring her determination to succeed in the community and her willingness to take on new job opportunities.

Carly Heller Special Olympian Award: Sam Guzzardo, recognizing outstanding athletic spirit, determination, and dedication.

Coach Cookie Warren Memorial Award: JJ Stiles,
acknowledged for demonstrating an exceptional interest and heart for sports.
